(Continuation) Snow; the Reggie kind

Post by Alexandre Ramirez on Sat Nov 01, 2014 3:12 pm

Alexandre had a fairly leisurely ride through the skies. While he left a potential crisis situation behind in the airports of the United Kingdom, it would only make flying for others harder as he had already left. Taking a luxury seat and taking advantage of the quiet found away from coach to gain some peace from his mind before he got involved in the murder of some terrible musician that was mercilessly beating the dead horse of a genre of music that he had no part in. It was a shameful act this 'Snow' was taking part in but the money and opportunity would have convinced Alexandre to take up the job anyway, and if he was being honest the only thing that ever stood in his way was Lanidor's gentle implications that he should be doing it. Regardless, Alexandre had accepted and had already begun the process of carrying it out so there was no going back and with that thought tossing around in his head Alexandre slept.

Sleeping was dangerous when he had lied to so many people and made himself so vulnerable as to be strapped to a seat with most of his weapons in a bag underneath him but it would be needed. As a human he didn't need to overexert himself trying to hold up to Lanidor's superhuman perspective of things. Ultimately Alexandre managed to sleep through four of the eight hours of flight, though his dreams were haunting and featured Alexandre walking to a large wooden door and being ripped apart by a herd of Lycans charging from the other side. Though such ominous dreams were best cast aside and Alexandre did this while he secured himself a meal of airplane foods, made better by his first class access and performed for the same reason of his sleeping. Thankfully, the rest of the flight was uneventful as eventful is usually terrible for someone who lied his way onto a plane and Alexandre was able to land in Toronto without too much difficulty. Except that his landing IN Toronto was more of a landing in a suburb of Toronto as per the limited options of crossing an ocean and nations from a somewhat minor airport to begin with.

Alexandre pushed to leave the plane and airport as soon as possible without making himself look suspicious. Carrying a bag over his shoulder and a briefcase in his left hand he didn't seem to out of place as he busily walked through CZBA airport and out of the small airport's doors. To any security or airport personnel that he ran into, he simply passed by with a presentation of his ABIN documents and credentials. He was filled with a similar ominous feeling to when he was entering the airport in the UK and starting up this endeavor. He only needed his false identity to hold through getting him out of this airport as the money he was carrying with him would probably cover the rest of his needs in getting to Snow's mansion.

So, after he showed his ABIN papers to the security of CZBA when he was being asked to go through Canadian Customs and angrily complained and made threats of political retribution for holding him up, Rodolfo completed his final mission as Alexandre's travel identity. He supposed that it was lucky he made it so far with him and that he managed to pull this off as him but there was no time to think about that, he had a terrible musician to kill. Alexandre had already developed a plan in his head for how to deal with the security detail as a whole which, if Lanidor's information was correct, was the final obstacle for this particularly strange job he was on.

Alexandre recalled Lanidor saying that Snow's mansion was on the East side of Toronto and that it would be fairly easy to find, so he assumed that meant it's location was public knowledge and thus would be easily acquired through thumbing through a directory or looking him up somewhere which would of course be done by using the public materials provided on Alexandre's way out of CZBA, as it's main feature is being close to Toronto it only stood to reason that such an airport would be carrying tourist information on Toronto. All that remained afterward was Alexandre climbing into a taxi hanging out at the airport and handing the man fifteen hundred US dollars, from the briefcase, to the driver and asking to be driven to Toronto without questions or conversation, promising another thousand upon arrival at Snow's Mansion (of which he gave the driver the location of).

The cab drive raised an eye brow at first, but as he started to inspect the money and find out that it was real his eyes grew wide and he immediately set about driving this man to Snow's place. He wouldn't speak to him, wouldn't try, and he would avoid looking at his face if he could.

In and out he told himself, just get him to Snow's and get outa there.

When they arrived the cabby stopped the car slowly. Saying to the man at last. But as they arrived, that idea was soon forgotten, as he offered this man his services once more to give him a ride back.

"This is it, this is Snow's place. I'll be drivin off here if thats what you be wantin and if so just toss the thousand up here. Oh, and if your planning on visiting Snow I might mention that you'll have to get through the gate, and thats got a man on it. Not sure if thats what you want, but uh, If you wanted to buy a taxi ride for the ride home, I'd be happy to give you a ride back if yah need."

The cabby didn't really care either way, he had already made a lot of money today, and he hoped he wasn't pushing his luck by asking, but, honestly, that was worth the risk of whatever this man might be likely to pay him.

The man at the gate looked out and saw the car, it seemed to be a Cabby, lot of people came here from time to time to gawk at the mansion, occasionally try and get a glimpse of Snow. He gave it a small wave, not really caring that it was there. He doubted it would try to enter and so he continued to relax against the sill of the open window he was looking out. The only thing visible on him was a blue shirt with a badge marked security, he was young with sandy blond hair cut short and blue green eyes.

Alexandre ignored the cab driver for a few moments at first, ignoring him the entire time that he was talking Alex was using the cover of the front two seats to place his weapons and ammo in his clothing as he normally did. Placing and strapping things into the carefully designed inner workings and straps of his jacket. He didn't particularly care if the cab driver saw him and expected that he would, but he also figured that the cab driver assumed that Alex was up to something of the illegal variety when he was paid so much and asked to take him to such a specific place. However, upon an immediate survey of the area, courtesy of his quickly darting eyes, Alex spotted the guard and formulated a plan to deal with the unexpected inconvenience. This meant that the cab driver would have to remain useful and probably come to regret offering Alex another ride.

"I assume you're interested in making more money but this has to be quick. I would love you to be my  driver when I finish my business here but there is something I need you to do first, and as before, there is some money involved. I'm going to get out of this cab and give you the thousand I promised you. If you are interested in making another fifteen hundred from me today you will pull away normally and drive to the nearest turn, turn off, and honk this car's horn for five full seconds while you're driving, then loop back around here and wait for me to come out. If you are not interested, just drive away." Alexandre quieted his voice beginning with the second sentence in an effort to establish an undertone of what the cab driver was getting into. It was old hat for Alex, but implications were useful in keeping people from getting cold feet about helping out, though Alex was pretty sure this guy would do anything for the right amount of money. It wasn't like he would have any ideas that Alexandre was peaceful after he had seen him pull weapons from a bag anyway. No, the biggest problem Alexandre would have from this cabby would be if he was less interested in money than he seemed to be but that would be made obvious if the driver honked or not.

So, Alex opened the door of the cab with a thousand in cash in his left fist, his right hand gripping the duffel bag which carried only his AK-47 and the briefcase full of money now. The cash in his left hand, hidden very purposefully by Alex's positioning with his back to the guard and his window, ignoring the man's wave. The cab would leave, but what it would do after was still a huge "if" in Alexandre's plans of getting in.

When (and if) the cabby pulled away from Snow's gate, Alexandre turned around to face the guard, switching his left hand to grab his duffel bag and reaching his right hand into his jacket, trying to appear as if he was grabbing a document from inside but instead gripping his SIG Sauer P226 as he faked a smile at the guard on the other side of the open window. He needed to be close to the man for this to go as smoothly as it needed to and as he wasn't very far away from the car to begin with it wouldn't be too difficult. Now came the crucial moment; should the cab driver begin to honk as he was told and offered money to do, Alexandre would immediately draw his gun and fire once at the guard's face from close range masking, or at least diluting, the noise with the sustained honking that he had given the cab driver instructions to do to the ears of anyone close enough that may notice the sound of a gunshot. A trained marksman and an experienced gunfighter, he had no doubt that he could pull off the shot with ease. After which, Alex would simply hop into the open window that the guard was so casually exposing himself in front of, and cross through into Snow's territory. Should the cab driver choose not to honk, Alexandre would probably have to eventually deal with a police response as a result of his trusting that man was motivated by money, in which case he would have to establish a simple conversation with the guard and leave to try again that night with a completely new plan.

The cab driver weighed his options carefully, not wanting to rush into either decision. But as he drove away he eventually decided to just keep driving away from the mansion. He didn't want to get caught with this guy, that much he knew, and though that money was still quite a bit he had had enough for one day to satiate his thirst.

Driving off the cabby decided not to honk his horn and continue on his way back to town. At a rather brisk pace admittedly.

The guard smiled lightly back and nodded at the man. He seemed to be grabbing something, hopefully not a weapon. He doubted it was given the time that the man spent rummaging through his coat for whatever it was he wanted. But still, even if he didn't seem dangerous he was still here, and he would still need to be dealt with.

"How might I help you sir? Are you looking for Snow?"

The guard stood up in his booth and leaned out of the window slightly as he spoke to the man, still in a very relaxed state.

Alexandre didn't miss a beat when the cabby failed to honk, it was unfortunate as he would have much preferred to handle things the way he had planned, but such was life and not having a contingency was a one of the more foolish things one of Alex's profession could do, a novice mistake as Alex would say. All of that came to nothing more than a brief moment of thought, however, as Alexandre made the short walk up to the guard's station. He was doing his best to keep up a friendly and normal smiling face at the man he was walking towards contemplating how to murder.

Upon reaching the final few steps before approaching the guard's station two things happened nearly simultaneously. The guard started speaking, and Alex released the grip he had on his handgun, and moved his hand to reach into the other side of his coat, letting his smile turn into a frown and breaking eye contact with the guard, allowing him to speak while Alexandre very deliberately moved his hand around in his coat in an attempt to give the impression of trying to find something within his coat.

Once the guard had finished speaking, Alexandre swapped which side of his coat his hand was grasping emptily within once more for a few seconds before speaking himself. Trying best to appear as if he had really lost something, and all the while appearing to care about it and what the guard was saying. In truth all he wanted to do was shoot this man between the eyes and move on as he had done so many others before, but the reason Alex was good at what he did was because when bad luck or a gamble on a taxi driver turns out poorly he remains capable. At least, he hoped that he would remain capable.

"Yes sir, I represent Sound Canada and was hoping to speak with Mr. Snow about spreading his music to a much larger audience. I came prepared with papers and whatnot to prove my purpose and, if things went well, to sign on Mr. Snow but it appears they've disappeared somewhere between my cab and here. My apologies for being such an inconvenience, I've long held respect for your profession and I hate to be a burden." Alex spoke calmly and straightforward, trying to create a kind of air of ending the conversation, to give the guard no extra reason to worry. Though immediately after he finished speaking, Alexandre dumped the papers and travel forms he had in his coat all over the ground in a feigned accident and in that moment Alex's contingency began.

"Sorry!" came first, followed immediately by Alex dropping to the ground in what would appear to anyone as the first step to gathering up the papers that had scattered about the ground. However, Alex's right hand moved across his left ankle while his left hand absent-mindedly grabbed at some of the papers that had saved his mission twice now, consequently letting his duffel bag rest on the ground near the spread papers. Alex expected the guard to further lean over the window to see what was going on, but he figured that human curiosity would at least invite him to look down at Alex and his papers, and it was in that moment that Alexandre planned his attack. With his right hand moving over his left ankle, he withdrew his Gerber Mark II and thrust upward, and after reaching the sill itself, pushed in toward where the guard would be standing. Provided the man had been leaning out of the window already and looked down when suddenly papers flew everywhere, as most people would, Alex's surprise and trained speed should have been good enough to catch the guard somewhere in his neck before he would be able to pull back entirely into his post and raise some sort of alarm. It was with thoughts of this that Alexandre tilted his own head when the attack began, aiming his strike if the guard moved to cleanly stab through the man's throat or head depending on which was more vulnerable when Alexandre began his attack. With plans, should he killed the guard easily, to follow through and leap into the window himself before anyone happened to pass by and see the event and to get a move on, toward his assassination of Snow.

The guard looked down at the paper's as they fell indeed. Though he only slowly got to his feet, planning on leaning out of the box at his leisure. The surprise knife attack would still catch him off guard however, and before he knew it the blade severed his spinal cord and left him dead on the ground without a second thought.

But as it happened to be, another of the guards was just coming back with two cups of a hot liquid in his hand. He was just inside of the gate when this went down and throwing the scalding liquid at the man he drew his own pistol and began shooting at him. The range was about 8 feet, and he felt confidant in his ability to take this man on alone. Though his other hand grasped desperately around his belt for his walkie takie.

Re: (Continuation) Snow; the Reggie kind

The paranoia wad that exists as Alexandre's brain didn't necessarily agree with his decision to leap onto the offensive with his knife, so following this action his eyes fell to the abnormal wandering eyes that was his paranoia made manifest. While part of him felt satisfaction and progress as Alex's blade slipped easily into the man's neck and directly through the man's spinal cord, the rest of him screamed at him not to take going on the attack lightly and as such Alex's paranoia based ability of the eyes started scanning and the hyperawareness result was able to notice another guard approaching with cups out of the corner of his eye at the moment that guard noticed Alex leaping through the window as a follow up to murdering his assumed friend and coworker.

Alex didn't have a lot of time to think. It was only thanks to his practiced awareness that he saw the attack coming in time to have even have a prayer of avoiding being shot, due to how close this other man was when this all began. But Alex did notice, and thus he did have a chance to survive and even survive unharmed. While the newcomer guard registered the events and reacted by throwing whatever sort of liquid was in the cups that tied up both of the man's hands Alex was able to let go of his knife and begin his own most highly trained reaction, drawing his own weapon. Alex assumed he would be able to draw his own weapon faster than the guard as the guard had to deal with getting rid of a cup from at least one of his hands while Alexandre was able to draw immediately, having let go of the knife to allow the first and now dead guard to fall before the mad scramble to shoot first between the two began.

Alex reached into his coat and grabbed his P226, strapped just inside of his coat and already prepared to fire, in a practiced reaction to danger the moment he spotted the guard. Simultaneously Alex continued his jumping inside of the window into a crouched position to allow for a greater chance of avoiding damage if he was unable to fire first. After that, it was just a matter who was able to draw and fire faster and Alexandre assumed that a man such as himself who had spent well over twenty years in frequent gun fights would be at least slightly faster at drawing his weapon than some house gate's guard. Though Alex would have no chance to avoid the liquid. As he raised the P226 and swung it quickly at the man standing before him and pulling the trigger, three times, at the moment the P226 came to rest aiming forward, however Alex closed his eyes before firing either shot, as an defensive instinct against the liquid which would serve the guard in creating a hot, painful, stinging, burn across Alex's face. Alexandre hoped that his, likely, superior experience and ability to begin reaching for his weapon before the guard would allow him to shoot the guard down before the guard was able to score a hit on him, at this point it was simply up to that.

The man surprised him quite a bit, taking the scalding hot coffee directly to his face and yet without flinching he bore out his own gun and began shooting at him.

He felt the bullets rip through his stomach, his chest and his gun shoulder, and fell to the ground with a thud. Red outlining the snow in a stark contrast to it's glaring white appearance.

But still his hand held down on a button for his radio. He managed to couch out the words "Gate 4" before this guard kicked the bucket.

In the background one could see a few light turning on here and there, and an engine starting to some form of automobile.

Spoiler:
You have three posts until more guards arrive. They wil see you on the last part of the second post. (Basically you have 8 actions until your spotted, 12 until you are engaged.)

The layout to this building is rather simple and a square iron fence surrounds it. If laid out on paper you would be at the south entrance, bottom middle that is to say, and the guards would be coming from around the building corner to your left.

The fence is 12 feet long and able to be scaled, but the decorative leaves function as spikes as well, so it will either be damaging, or take a while. The gate can be opened however from inside of the guard box that you are currently in.

Damage wise the coffee has hit your eyes, closing them will save you from total blindness but your sight is about 85%. Keep that in mind. The bullet will have missed you entirely.

Considering he had fired all three of the shots he had planned to and had only taken hot coffee to the eyes rather than a bullet to the brain, Alexandre figured that he shot the man, and gave himself a moment to rub his sleeve across his eyes. They still burned but he soon found that he could open them and still see, at least relatively well, though his first sight upon opening them was one that made his victory a pyrrhic one. He saw the blinks of a few lights dotting the background of his vision, and as ringing died down, moments later he heard an engine ignite. All of this despairing news unfortunately meant that he had no time to curse himself, or the situation, and simply had to keep moving. The question was, forward or back. The lights clearly meant that he had failed to keep this stealthy, whether that be by the gunshots being heard, or the guard that damaged his eyes getting out some sort of distress muffled by way of his own gunshots. The how didn't really matter though, he had to decide if the reward was worth the risk and he had to decide then. The money alone wasn't worth it, but that, the threat of Lanidor and maybe others coming after him for not completing the job, and the promised meeting, tipped the scales just in the favor of pressing onward.

Alexandre took a moment to gather himself within the guard's box, opening the duffel bag to draw and load his AK-47. Whether he used it would depend on how smooth his entrance to the mansion would be, and considering that he was now pressed for time, Alexandre assumed that it would not be. It was, however, well within his experience to go in violent and act quickly. Finally, Alex had to decide whether or not to carry the briefcase with him. It could be useful, but if most guards reacted the way this one had, his coming 500,00 would have to be enough, and it was left tucked under a desk within the guard's box. If at all possible he would return for it, but unless he grew a third arm he couldn't risk it. Finally, before moving on into the mansion, Alex picked the walkie from the belt of the recently killed guard. If they were talking, it would likely be about him and it was always useful to know more rather than less. He turned it on and placed it inside of his coat, just below his neck.

Hoping that the few moments he took preparing a gun and looting a walkie talkie wouldn't compromise him too much more than he already was, he now made his way in a sprint between the box and the mansion. He considered trying a window busting approach, but it seemed like more of a hazard than it would be worth. So, Alexandre prepared to scan everything as best he could with his injured eyes and positioned himself to the right side of the front door so as to look back at the gate to make sure that no one had come to shoot him in the back as he forced his way in. When/if convinced he raised his assault rifle to his shoulder and kicked at the door to open it, aiming the AK-47 inside with the intention to shoot anyone he saw inside, or pivot back against the outside of the mansion if he felt he was unable to take everyone down before they could fire back.

Spoiler:
Vision is now about 90%, will improve slightly every post.

The guards did not reach Alex befoe he kicked in the door, and the stolen communicator blurted out occasional phrases that seemed rather interesting, and indeed important.

The man breaking in the door faced two more guards, these, with rifles in their hand and a sprint on their legs. Upon seeing him one immediately dropped to his knees to begin firing, the other tucked himself behind a doorway in the entrance room, disappearing from site at the moment.

Bullets were flying soon after this, and though the shots were rushed the man firing them was decently skilled in the use of firearms.

Spoiler:
If Alex goes ahead and shoots at these men the one on his knees will die after getting out a few rushed shots, they will be close but not lethal. The one behind the doorway entrance cannot be seen.

Phrases that Alex would have heard form the walkie talkie, are things like.

"Intruder"

"Gate 3"

"Armed"

"Two men down"

and lastly,

"Get snow in to the room."

Re: (Continuation) Snow; the Reggie kind

Post by Alexandre Ramirez on Mon Jan 05, 2015 7:59 pm

Spoiler:
OOC: Sorry about how long this took to get up, the incredibly long time it took actually...But hopefully things can return to norrmalish speed and I haven't exceeded some kind of timer...so i'm just going to keep going.

Alexandre took in the situation immediately upon seeing the rifles and the men wielding them. Pivoting quickly back against the front of the mansion for a moment to assess his options given what he had seen and heard. Taking particular interest in hearing of getting Snow to 'the room'. Alex figured it likely this meant there was some kind of safe room either nearby or within the mansion which would be incredibly helpful to know if he failed to meet up with Snow before he is hidden away in such a room. Though it was now impossible to have a leisurely or stealthy search through the mansion, given that bullets were flying through where Alex once stood, Alex knew a way to empty the mansion and reveal Snow's 'room' if it existed within the mansion itself.

Waiting for the man inside to begin firing through the doorway Alex grabbed at his belt while he waited for a lull in the gunfire, whether the man kept firing until he needed to reload or simply decided that shooting out an empty doorway was a waste of bullets was entirely up to him as Alexandre doubted he could reach him from inside without drilling a hole through the mansion itself with bullets.

While waiting for the fire to stop, which Alex assumed would be fairly quickly, Alex had removed one of his M68 grenades from his belt. When the firing had come to a complete stop Alex flicked his arm across the doorway with grenade in hand and tossed it toward where the non firing man had ducked behind. He didn't expose any more than his arm for the briefest movement for the man inside to shoot at and the grenade would explode three seconds after coming into contact with something. The beauty of the grenade being that he didn't need to look in and be precise with his still aching eyes when he can simply blow up everything getting in his way. Thus the plan to reveal the safe room and kill everyone in the mansion began, as Alex lobbed a second grenade in through the nearest window and toward any noticeable furniture or flammable objects inside. The plan was to start as many fires as possible quickly inside the mansion to burn Snow up or reveal anywhere that wasn't burned. It was going to get him noticed and it was almost distastefully aggressive but with the surprising security and a great deal on the line for success it was what was needed. Of course while outside Alexandre was checking the gate behind him to look for any reinforcements that may come for him while the mansion is burning and keeping his own rifle at the ready for the likely meeting of more guards before this was done.

Spoiler:
Vision 95%

The grenade did as it was supposed to, blowing up both of the men that posed a danger to Alex for the moment. They though safely slain by him, were not the only guards to guard this mansion. Soon enough more would come, and the distant noises of more battle ready guards could be heard.

For the moment however, the intruder was free to do as he wished in the mansion.

Ball is in your court, it will take two more posts for any guards to get near you.

Re: (Continuation) Snow; the Reggie kind

The Grenade explosion against a doorway would open the way for Alexandre to reach Snow, but also creating more of the means. The explosion would surely have caught something in a mansion aflame, and of course with the guards around to notice and deal with, or even report fire, had just been blown apart around the room. Though Alexandre had begun to wonder if all the killing and trouble he'd been put through was worth what he was getting out of it. He probably wasn't going to get the money he brought back either, which annoyed him greatly.

He made his way into the mansion, keeping the radio he stole at it's max volume in the event they said anything more about him, if conditions were ideal he would turn it down to prevent them from knowing he had the device but he needed both hands for his AK and he needed to be able to hear it more than he needed them to not hear that he had it, if that sense to anyone outside Alexandre's mind.

Once inside the mansion he began moving in the direction of the revving of engines he had heard earlier, right when all of the crazy elements of battle took over everything. He ran this way in a sprint, knocking anything in his way over and taking any shortcuts he could find. Snow absolutely could not beat him to the cars.

Alex's plan for finding him took advantage of Alex knowing full well that someone trying to evacuate, as the guards had said they were moving to do with Snow, wouldn't be staying on the upper floors in their attempt to escape. There were only two ways to get to something of a safe room, which Alex assumed he was going to after hearing "Get snow in to the room." over the walkie. The first was getting away and the second was going down, Alexandre reasoned if Snow had gone below ground under his mansion he would likely be staying inside of a safe room down there and had little chance of actually getting away, if he was trying to escape though he needed to be stopped immediately or he would go beyond Alex's immediate reach.

Alex's assumption was indeed correct, and soon the telltale signs of recent activity grew as he entered the lower rooms of the building complex. Unfinished food lay on tables, a bullet here and there, a knife lay on the ground fallen out of a hastily put on scabbard.

The "room" was however no where to be found as Alex entered the lowest room in the building. A straight single hallway lead into a large 30x30 foot room that was sparsely lit by a single bulb on the ceiling.

The only hint that proved there may be more to this room than meets the eye is the small piece of cloth caught in between the left wall and the wall above it, seemingly ripped off from a man's jacket and stuck in between the two walls.

Re: (Continuation) Snow; the Reggie kind

Post by Alexandre Ramirez on Fri Jan 30, 2015 11:00 pm

He wasn't sure if the guards were still coming after him, or if they would bother to look in the downstairs of a destroyed building, but Alexandre had a job to finish. At the end of the hallway before him he came across evidence of a rush and a giant door under the single bulb lightning of the hall. A piece of clothing could be seen in the wall, where it likely separated and became an opening to the safe room. Likely there would be a gun on the other side aiming outward. Alex compared the knife in the wall to the knife he had with him and decided against keeping it. The radio silence implied much for his own safety while he decided what to do with the secret door so obviously exposed before him.

Alex decided relatively quick to expend the last of his grenades. Rolling them to the door with just enough force to trigger the impact mechanism, giving the doomed three second clock attached to them before they exploded, likely blowing the door of the room into the room itself and hopefully in doing so killing the security, and depending on the size of the room the entirety of the safe room.

The Grenade did indeed activate the mechanism in this room. However it was the floor that gave way, not the wall, as the piece of cloth was blown forcefully off the wall.

As the floor gave way downward fifteen feet below lay a pit filled indeed with spikes, and above this floor the footsteps of more guards could be heard, with a man proudly proclaiming behind them.

"You see gentlemen I told you that the floor of death was a good idea!"

Spoiler:
Find a way to stop from falling in to the pit o else serious damage will occur.

Alexandre was certainly not expecting the ground to suddenly give way when his grenades went off, but he was a trained and experienced killer and it was rare that those with such an extreme life's work managed to stay alive without the ability to deal with a change in circumstances. When Alexandre found himself on ground folding away, he immediately stretched his arms length-wise as quickly as Alexandre was physically capable. Thankfully as Alexandre had been attacking the frame of what he believed to be the same room from an obscure distance due to the use of grenades, he was not positioned directly in the center of the opening and thus was able to swing his arms against the ledge before he fell to the mercy of the spikes just below.

Of course a great deal of guards of various kinds were coming for him and would soon be upon him so no time could be spent struggling or trying to press the advantage. Of course Alex had a slight advantage in knowing these guards were coming from, even being graced with hearing one praising the trap that they were sure to believe Alexandre was caught in. Alex regained control of his temporarily discarded assault rifle and made sure he could feel the weight of his Taurus Judge against his chest as he climbed as quickly as possible, pulling himself into a more leverage-capable position and then swinging himself from the trap. Alex would end up with his back pressed against a wall at the end of the single long hallway in this area of the house. At the other end was the trap, and the box that had been the bait. The opening around the wall of which Alex pressed his back, AK-47 in hand, was the only entrance to the hallway and Alex was ready to gun down a lot of people that were forced to come through that way if they had to. Of course it wouldn't hurt that they assumed he was trapped.

The guards and a man traveling with them who did not seem to be carrying a weapon of any kind began to look into the pit below them, attempting to find out where there attacker had gone. The man, seemingly quite bossy snapped at one of the guards.

"Jared! Shine a flashlight down there, I want to see the last look on this buffoon's face."

The man in question who's name was not actually Jared, it was Saul, did as he was asked anyway. Knowing that the man giving the order couldn't care less about his real name. They began to inspect the area with confused looks, wondering why it was taking so long to find the body.

Spoiler:
There are three guards with the man who is indeed snow looking over the pit now. They do not see you and have not noticed you.

Spoiler:
OOC: As Alexandre is no longer in the pit and instead against a wall these four gentlemen have been described walking passed I'm going to take the liberty of interrupting them as they walk by Alexandre's hiding place without mention or notice.

As the men approached Alexandre thanked his luck and foresight for rushing up against the wall. They were coming to check and see if he was dead, to put their minds at ease and mentally move on probably. Whatever the reason the moment these men decided to descend into the final hallway, where Alexandre lay in wait just around the corner, the men had sealed their own fate. As they would no doubt make no effort to disguise or conceal their approach, even if they came without words, Alexandre would hear them approach in the otherwise silent hallway-basement. Trained killer as he was, he waited, not revealing his hand and not leaping at the opportunity until they were mere moments from walking directly in front of him at which point Alexandre considering springing into action, however he waited a few moments more, AK held at the ready as the men walked in, so sure of their trap and so ignorant to experience that they simply missed checking their corners, where Alexandre lurked.

Assault Rifle already raised and aimed, Alexandre simply opened fire into the group as they walked completely by him, taking aim to shoot the ones that appeared to be more home security for Snow. The burst of gunfire did not ignore the unarmed man however, as Alexandre would not allow anything to come back against him in the future as his patience for Snow's incredibly well funded defenses was running thin. After firing a combined 24 bullets into the four men Alexandre would withdraw his already bloodied knife to saw the right thumb and index finger from the unarmed man's body, under the assumption that it was Snow or someone important and that proof of the kill would likely play in his favor. In Alexandre's experience men that don't carry a weapon and are surrounded by men that do have some kind of leadership role. Alexandre would also, of course, try to identify the now dead, previously unarmed man among the security as well believing and assuming the man to be John Snow. Either way, the pressure from local sources would likely come in force for him soon and that meant he had to leave immediately. Before he did though, Alexandre changed clothes with the dead men, finding pieces of clothing that weren't obviously riddled with bullet holes to prevent anyone who may have happened to see him going in, from noticing the same man that started all of this shit was getting out.

Having done all of this, Alexandre decided it was probably his best chance to leave before he had to deal with a significant threat brought on by the immense gunfight held in this rich Canadian neighborhood, and as far as escape goes Alexandre was limited. Provided that he didn't find any more living beings in the mansion. Alexandre would then make his way back through the mansion to the front door, pausing briefly to consider stealing one of Snow's cars but deciding against it for fear of the potential for local law enforcement to impede him once more. No, Alexandre decided he needed to take to the road before anyone else came, pick up the briefcase he had left in the guard house for safe keeping, and use it's contents to take a cab out of the city for RSF extract. If Alexandre were to encounter any more people within the mansion he would take cover to assess.

Consider this mission successfully over. Your character is a trained assassin and should be able to make his way out of here without getting caught. Good job! You may take your SP for completion of this mission.
